GATEWAY REINSURANCE BROKERS INTERNATIONAL LTD
is a company that was incorporated in year 2017 and commenced trading in 2018 (after obtaining its trading license) in the Kingdom of Eswatini to provide reinsurance and insurance broking services focusing in the broader areas of non-life, life and medical health business as well as providing alternative risk financing and enterprise wide risk management solutions. Since its establishment, Gateway has since grown to have regional presence in Southern Africa. The first subsidiary (Gateway Comphania Corretora De Resseguros LDA) was granted the trading license by the Mozambican regulator (ISSM) and opened its doors for trading on the 1st of June 2022.

The second reinsurance broking subsidiary in Zambia (Flagstone Reinsurance Brokers International PVT LTD) was granted its trading license by the Zambian regulator (PIA) in August 2024 and commenced operations in September 2024. The third reinsurance broking affiliate in Zimbabwe (Orbit Reinsurance Brokers International Pvt Ltd) was granted its trading license by the Zimbabwean regulator (IPEC) in April 2026 and commenced operations in May 2026. These entities are authorised to provide reinsurance broking services in the areas of Life, Non-Life and Health insurance as well as risk management and alternative risk transfer solutions to its targeted local, regional, and international clients.
